SEAN LOGIE established his architectural practice in 2007 in Cape Town after working for established architectural firms for over 10 years.
Since its inception, the practice has been highly successful in residential and commercial projects ranging in value from R1 million to R30 million.
Sean is well-versed and experienced in all aspects of architecture from design to contract administration, has excellent technical skills and a broad construction knowledge, together with strong management abilities.
He has led professional teams on numerous multi-million rand private and public sector projects. He makes his clients’ interest a priority, by ensuring a high standard of finish and successful contract administration, with an emphasis on achieving completion as specified, on time and on budget.
Large architectural practices can become impersonal factories where the product passes through numerous departments.I want to build a rapport with my clients and deliver a service with enthusiasm. One where I am directly involved in all aspects of the project, including designing and documenting the details, thus delivering a personalised approach to the work.
The architecture I wish to practice is not defined by my own style, rather each client’s tastes and requirements dictate the design process. Though I have a personal philosophy of refined simplicity which extends throughout my work, my designs are solutions to clients’ briefs, without imposing a particular personal aesthetic.
